Born to Saint-Lucian immigrants, Hasadiah Jn-Baptiste is a writer with roots extending throughout the American South and Midwest. His scripts explore the joys and pitfalls of life in flyover country and are centered around atypical, misunderstood characters that are traditionally only found on the peripheral of narratives.

Most recently, Hasadiah was a semi-finalist for Pipeline Theatre's 2024 PlayLab, and he worked as a Dramaturg for The Civilians 2023-2024 R&D Findings Series. Hasadiah earned a BFA from the Rita and Burton Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing at New York University, and they even let him give a cool graduation speech about the whole ordeal.
When he's not writing, you can find him drawing figures and faces, reading Peanuts comics in a park, or lamenting the woes of his favorite sports teams.
